Over the years January has always been a slow month in the creator industry with brands spending 70%+ of their budget in the holiday quarter and other brands still finalizing their budgets for the new year. So we are excited to see that the number of sponsored posts on Instagram in January is already close to Q4 levels! Normally we don’t see campaigns come back to normal until the middle of February, so this early rebound is a great sign.
Here is a look at the number of sponsored posts per week over the last few weeks:
Week 3 (1/18-1/24): 43,841
Week 2 (1/11-1/17): 43,155
Week 1 (1/4-1/10): 39,003
Week 53 (12/28-1/3): 38,417
Week 52 (12/21-12/27): 40,950
Week 51 (12/14-12/20): 48,974
Week 50 (12/7-12/13): 49,348
Week 49 (11/30-12/6): 49,564
As you can see, the weeks leading up to Christmas are the top campaign weeks of the year. 😉
