Issue #15 - The Top Sponsored Posts on IG in April 2021
April 2021 was another solid month for IG creators with 186,000+ sponsored posts. Those numbers are slightly down from March (195k posts) but overall a great sign as the industry picks up steam headed into the summer months.
The top posts of the month were quite diverse with Charli + Dunkin leading the way (again) but we saw a couple of new entrants with Rag & Bone and Ponds:

Industry Funding Update
$396,675,000 Total Raised in April 2021
Community - Allows creators and celebrities to chat with their fans via SMS raised $40m lead by SalesForce Ventures.
Mighty Networks - Allows creators to build their own white-labeled community and courses raised $50m from Intel and Owl Rock Capital.
PearPop - The new Cameo like service where TikTokers can sell personalized videos and duets to their fans raised $16m from Seven Seven Six, Slow Ventures and Sound Ventures.
